CHARLOTTE — Olivia Brooke Bachman of Charlotte and Adam Blake Pittman of Charlotte said their wedding vows Oct. 23 at 2 p.m.

The Rev. Carlos Medina officiated at the double-ring ceremony at St. Patrick Cathedral.

James Brett and Paula Bachman of Wilmington are parents of the bride. She is the granddaughter of the late Karl A. Kraft, Betty Kraft, the late Earl Francis and Sylvia Bachman of Buffalo, N.Y.

The groom is the son of Wane and Faye Pittman of Goldsboro. He is the grandson of the late Carl and Minnie Mae Scott and the late Harvey and Annie Mae Pittman of Goldsboro.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father.

Jennifer Bachman, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Leah Pittman and Paige Pittman, sisters of the groom, and Kelly Cayer, Kelly Lusk, Andrea Curtis and Natalie Waites, friends of the bride.

Wayne Pittman was his son’s best man. Groomsmen were Jason Pittman, brother of the groom; Matt Bachman, brother of the bride; and Matt Rast, Brandon Wooten, Les Stewart and Adam Butler, friends of the groom.

Logan Scott was flower girl.

Lynda Cardo directed the wedding. Shana Scott, Patrick Sheehan and Kris Sheehan were Scripture readers.

A program of wedding music was provided by Larry Stratemeyer, organist, and Richard Horton, vocalist.

After a wedding trip to the Amalfi coast and Rome, Italy, the couple is residing in Charlotte.

The bride is a graduate of Millbrook High School of Raleigh and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a bachelor of arts degree in international studies and Spanish. She is employed as a real estate account executive with the Charlotte Observer.

The groom graduated from Charles B. Aycock High School and North Carolina State University with a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering. He is employed as an engineer with Trus Joist, Weyerhauser.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Pewter Rose Bistro.

A rehearsal dinner was held at the Rheinland Haus.
