Janet Marie Crouse of LaGrange and Ricky Christopher Grimes of LaGrange pledged their wedding vows Nov. 6 at 2 p.m.

The Rev. Neal Wingfield officiated at the double-ring ceremony at Salem United Methodist Church.

Bradley J. and Bonnie S. Crouse of Goldsboro are parents of the bride. She is the granddaughter of Doris M. Eberlin and the late Ray R. Eberlin of Sayre, Pa., and Ted E. Crouse and the late Janet M. Crouse of Goldsboro.

Parents of the groom are Phyllis Cavenaugh of Goldsboro and Ricky Grimes of Wilson. He is the stepson of Stephen Rhodes of Goldsboro and the grandson of Roy and Janice Cavenaugh of Fremont and David and Leila Grimes of Wilson.

Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her parents, the bride wore a white strapless gown with and embroidered and rhinestone bodice, an embroidered skirt and a train.

For her headpiece, she chose a tiara of pearls and rhinestones with a veil of tulle with rhinestones. She carried a cascading bouquet of red roses and stephanotis with baby’s breath.

Sarah Crouse, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Diehl and Alicia Grant, friends of the bride.

Brook Rhodes was his brother’s best man. Groomsmen were Jeffrey Witmer and Ricky Fields, friends of the groom.

Melinda Buckner, friend of the bride, was flower girl.

Emily Peacock directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Kathleen Wurst. Leslie Cavenaugh distributed programs.

A program of wedding music was provided by Becky Tyndall, organist, and Debbie Johnson, vocalist.

After a wedding trip to Myrtle Beach, S.C., the couple is residing in LaGrange.

The bride is a 1999 graduate of Wayne Community College with an associate’s degree in arts in early childhood development. She is employed as a preschool teacher at the Goldsboro YMCA.

The groom graduated from Rosewood High School in 1991. He is employed as a truck driver with Pate Dawson Co.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Goldsboro Country Club.

A rehearsal dinner was held Nov. 5 in the church fellowship hall.

On Oct. 26, the bride’s sister and friend held a bridal shower at the home of the bride’s parents.
