BOLTON LANDING, N.Y. — Shannon Lynn McCann and Warren Patrick Rand said their marriage vows Oct. 8 at 5 p.m.
Frank Prezio officiated at the double-ring waterfront ceremony at Sagamore Hotel.
Parents of the bride are Cheryl McCann of Columbus, Ohio, and George R. McCann of Hillard, Ohio. She is the granddaughter of George M. and Frieda McCann of Springfield, Ohio, and Mary Stewart of Palm Harbor, Fla.
The groom is the son of Robert and Betty Rand of Goldsboro. He is the grandson of the late Cecil and Nellie Best of Goldsboro and the late Arlo and Geraldine Rand of Quincy, Ill.
After a wedding trip to South Africa, the couple is residing in New York City.
The bride is a graduate of Cornell with a bachelor of science degree in nutrition. She received her registered dietitian certification at Massachusetts General Hospital.
The groom graduated from Appalachian State University with a degree in political science and Gothenburg University of Sweden with a master’s degree in world economics and finance.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Sagamore Hotel’s shelving rock terrace.
The groom’s parents held an after-rehearsal dinner Oct. 7 at Sagamore Club grill room.
