Mr. and Mrs. Anderson

Nichole Elise Holland and Jeffrey Scott Anderson exchanged promises Saturday, Oct. 16, at 5:30 p.m.

The Rev. T.C. West Jr. officiated at the double-ring ceremony at Beston United Methodist Church.

Mr. and Mrs. Carl C. Holland of Nashville and the late Elisabeth N. Holland are parents of the bride.

Mr. and Mrs. J.P. Anderson Jr. of LaGrange are parents of the groom. He is the grandson of Addie Killette, the late Reece Killette and Mr. and Mrs. James Prentice Anderson of LaGrange.

Given in marriage and escorted by her father, the bride wore a white strapless gown of silk mikado with a pleated draped bodice and a chapel-length train.

For her headpiece, she chose a circlet of pearls and crystals with a fingertip veil. She carried a bouquet of Anna, Vogue and Eskimo roses.

Elizabeth Martinez of New London, Conn., was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Katie Semple of Rocky Mount, sister of the bride; Amy Faulkner of LaGrange, sister of the groom; and Kathryn Sims of Rocky Mount.

J.P. Anderson Jr. was his son’s best man. Groomsmen were Dustin Holland of Rocky Mount, brother of the bride; Jerome Faulkner of LaGrange, brother-in-law of the groom; and Robert Cox of Grifton.

Penny Lewis, cousin of the groom, directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Kerry Strupp of Kennesaw, Ga., stepsister of the bride.

A program of wedding music was provided by Carol Ann Murphy.

After a wedding trip to Orlando, Fl., the couple is residing in Rocky Mount.

The bride is a graduate of Northern Nash Senior High School and East Carolina University. She is employed by Connect Inc.

The groom graduated from North Lenoir High School and East Carolina University. He is employed by Honeywell.

Following the ceremony, the bride’s parents held a reception at Walnut Creek Country Club.

On Oct. 16, the bride’s family held a bridesmaids’ brunch at Walnut Creek Country Club. The bride chose this time to present gifts to her attendants.

The groom’s parents held a rehearsal dinner Oct. 15 at Beston Church fellowship hall.

On Oct. 9, friends of the groom held a bachelor party in Rocky Mount.

Co-workers of the bride held a bridal shower Sept. 28.

On Sept. 19, members of Beston Church held a bridal shower.

Family held a bridal shower Sept. 12.
