Robbie LuAnne Rogers of Southport and Kimber Charles Pearce of Wilmington were united in holy matrimony Friday, Oct. 15, at 1 p.m.

The Rev. T.C. West officiated at the double-ring ceremony at Beston United Methodist Church.

The late Robert Stambry Rogers and the late Alice Humphries Rogers of Roxboro are parents of the bride.

The late Dr. Dan Mitchell Pearce and the late Jean Best Pearce of LaGrange are parents of the groom.

The bride wore an ivory gown with a portrait neckline and pleated, off-the-shoulder chiffon sleeves. The fitted, dropped V-waist bodice of imported lace was embellished with pearl clusters, sequin accents, satin buttons and ribbed piping. The flared taffeta skirt had a chiffon overlay with a scalloped hem. She wore an engraved gold cross pendant given to her by the groom.

She carried a hand-tied bouquet of 12 Virginia roses and 12 Anna roses accented with caspia, Italian ruscus and baby’s breath and a Bible covered with olive wood from Jerusalem.

Catherine C. Reagan of Knoxville, Tenn., daughter of the bride, was matron of honor. Lori A. Caudle of Knoxville, daughter of the bride, was maid of honor.

Jason C. Pearce of Washington D.C. was his brother’s best man.

Seth Walker Reagan of Knoxville, grandson of the bride, was ring bearer.

A program of wedding music was provided by Catherine C. Reagan, daughter of the bride, violinist.

After a wedding trip to the Smoky Mountains, the couple is residing in LaGrange and Southport.

The bride is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. She received the Delilah B. Blanks Award for outstanding social work graduate of 2004.

The groom graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a doctor of philosophy degree in speech communication. He will attend East Carolina University’s School of Allied Health Sciences for a dual master’s degree in rehabilitation counseling and substance abuse and clinical counseling.

Following the ceremony, a reception luncheon was held at Billie’s on the Green.
