Angela Nicole Hines and Jason Nicholas Davis of Fayetteville were married Aug. 7 at 4 p.m.

The Rev. Andy Stovall officiated at the double-ring ceremony at Whitley Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Mel and Becky Hines of Goldsboro are parents of the bride. She is the granddaughter of the late Lannie and Minnie Hines of Warsaw and the late Leander Girtz and Hermine Girtz of Hinckley, Minn.

Parents of the groom are the late Deborah K. Davis and Russell and Marilyn Davis of Youngstown, Ohio. He is the grandson of the late Thomas Housteau and Janet Haslow of Lima, Ohio, and the late Robert Davis and Janet Davis of Austintown, Ohio.

Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore an ivory formal A-line gown with a strapless neckline, accented with ivory embroidery, crystal and silver beading throughout the bodice. The gown had a split skirt with a chapel-length train with beading and embroidery.

For her headpiece, she chose a single-tiered elbow-length veil of silk illusion. She carried a cascading bouquet of miniature calla lilies, roses and stephanotis.

Christina Pittman, friend of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Shauna Morton and Alicia Cox, friends of the bride, and Heather Norred, sister of the bride.

Brian Davis was his brother’s best man. Groomsmen were Phillip Gill, Aaron Means and Trevor Laskaris, friends of the groom.

Emily Fields, friend of the bride, was flower girl.

Millie Hardison directed the ceremony. Presiding at the register was Katie Holcomb, friend of the bride,

A program of wedding music was provided by Becky Hines and Jody Bridgers, vocalists.

After a wedding trip to the Caribbean, the couple is residing in Fayetteville.

The bride is a 2001 honor graduate of Charles B. Aycock High School and a 2003 graduate of Wayne Community College.

The groom graduated from Austintown Fitch High School of Ohio. He is serving in the Air Force stationed at Pope Air Force Base.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the church’s Carpenter’s House. Jennifer Parrish, friend of the bride, poured punch. Shelly McMonigal, aunt of the bride, served the wedding cake.

On Aug. 6, a rehearsal dinner was held at the church fellowship hall. The couple chose this time to present gifts to their attendants.

The groom’s family held a dinner Aug. 13 in Youngstown.

Friends of the bride held a lingerie shower July 24 at the home of the bride.

Janice Cox, friend of the bride, held a shower July 18 at Whitley Church.
