Jamie Lynn Rollins and Christopher Kevin McArdle of Goldsboro were married June 5 at 4 p.m.

The Rev. Richard Glosson, uncle of the bride, officiated at the double-ring ceremony at Ray of Hope Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church.

Parents of the bride are Jimmy and Jean Rollins of Goldsboro. She is the granddaughter of Thelma Strickland and Dewey Rollins of Goldsboro, the late T.J. Strickland and the late Johnnie Mae Rollins.

Parents of the groom are Kevin and Gail McArdle of Buffalo, N.Y. He is the grandson of John McArdle Sr. and Joan Rick of Buffalo, the late Edith McArdle and the late Edward Rick Sr.

Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a strapless ivory satin A-line gown with metallic beaded embroidery and a low asymmetrical back adorned with three rosettes and an organza inset.

For her headpiece, she chose a pearl and rhinestone tiara enhanced with baby’s breath in her hair. She carried a bouquet of ivory rose and lilies with assorted greenery accented around the edge.

Jill McArdle of Buffalo, sister of the groom, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Amber Ellingwood and Tracey King of Goldsboro, sisters of the bride; Jessica Amos of Goldsboro, niece of the bride; and Kristen Zimmer of Buffalo, friend of the groom.

Ralph Barone of Raleigh was his friend’s best man. Groomsmen were Stephen McArdle of Buffalo, brother of the groom, and Mike Clubine, Bryan Staniszewski and Chris Rizzo of Buffalo, friends of the groom.

Jodie Glosson of Goldsboro, aunt of the bride, directed the ceremony. Presiding at the regsiter was Lindsey Glosson of Goldsboro, cousin of the bride. Sherrin Barone of Raleigh, friend of the couple, distributed programs.

A program of wedding music was provided by Patsy Gardner of Goldsboro, pianist.

After a wedding trip to Walt Disney World, Fla., the couple is residing in Goldsboro.

The bride is a 1996 graduate of Charles B. Aycock High School.

The groom graduated from Kenmore West Senior high School of New York.

Following the ceremony, the bride’s parents held a reception dinner and dance at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base Officers’ Club.

The groom’s parents held a rehearsal dinner June 4 at Billie’s. The couple chose this time to present gifts to their attendants.

On June 3, Ralph Barone of Raleigh, friend of the groom, held a bachelor party.

Cheryl Casey and friends of the bride held a pantry and garden shower May 29 at the Casey home in Goldsboro.

On May 15, the bride’s family held a bridal shower at Ray of Hope Church fellowship hall.

Jill McArdle, sister of the groom, and Sue Lizauckas, Mary Klemp and Peggy Becker, aunts of the groom, held a bridal shower April 17 at the Klemp home in Buffalo.

On April 16, Jill McArdle, sister of the groom, and Sherrin Barone of Raleigh, friend of the couple, held a bachelorette party in Buffalo.
