Beth Ann Jones became the wife of Michael Bret Quinn May 29 at 2 p.m.

Alan Lamm officiated at the double-ring ceremony at Casey’s Chapel Church.

The bride is the daughter of Tony Gray and Eva Thompson Jones of Goldsboro. She is the granddaughter of the late Henry Robert Thompson, Carrie Marie Thompson and the late Pearlie and Eloise C. Jones of Goldsboro.

Bronnie Lee and Sherry Mabry Quinn of Goldsboro are parents of the groom. He is the grandson of Harold and Lois Quinn of Trenton and the late Carlene Mabry and Walker Mabry of Wilson.

Given in marriage and escorted by her father, the bride wore a white formal satin silk gown embellished with pearls, iridescent sequins, silver beads and floral embroidery.

For her headpiece, she chose a comb veil of elbow-length scalloped with silk trim and highlighted with rhinestones attached to a silver rhinestone tiara. She carried a cascading bouquet of white daisies and miniature yellow roses.

Holly Renee Jones, sister, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Emily Blair Jones and Laura Beth Jones of LaGrange, friends of the bride.

Travis Lee Quinn was his brother’s best man. Ushers were Josh Gurkin of Washington and Alan Egerton of Lillington, friends of the groom.

Charla Sidelinger, aunt of the groom, directed the ceremony. Presiding at the register and distributing programs were Megan Meachem and Martha Hill, friends of the bride.

A program of wedding music was provided by Tom Casey, pianist.

After a wedding trip to Disney World, Fla., the couple is residing in LaGrange.

The bride is a 2000 graduate of Eastern Wayne High School and a 2003 graduate of Wayne Community College with a certification in phlebotomy and a minor in elementary education. She is employed as a certified instructional assistant with Wayne County Public Schools.

The groom graduated from Eastern Wayne High School in 2000 and Campbell University in 2004 with a degree in compute science. He is employed as a program assistant with Goldsboro Milling.

Following the ceremony, the bride’s parents held a reception at the Steak Barn. Dr. Brooke Bundy, cousin of the bride, was coordinator. Dr. Alan Lamm was announcer. Brenda Kennedy, aunt of the groom, cut the wedding cake. Travis Lee Quinn, brother, made the toast.

On May 27, the groom’s parents held a rehearsal dinner at Billie’s Backstreet. The couple chose this time to present gifts to their attendants.

Bethany, Emily and Laura Jones, friends of the bride, and Holly Jones, sister of the bride, held a bachelorette weekend May 7 through 9.

On Feb. 7, Bethany, Emily and Laura Jones held a lingerie shower at the Jones home.

Sherry Quinn held a kitchen/pantry shower at New Hope Friends Church.

Peggy Brock, Lisa Dembnicki, Lynda Bundy and Dr. Brooke Bundy held a bridal shower at the Bundy office.

Casey’s Chapel Church held a bridal shower at the church.

First grade staff of Eastern Wayne Elementary School held a bridal shower at the school.
