NEWPORT — Eunice Natalie Daniels of Beaufort and Rex Allen Gibble said their wedding vows June 5 at 2 p.m.

Robert Joyner officiated at the double-ring ceremony at Community Baptist Church.

The bride is the daughter of Thurman Craig Sr. and Pamela Harvey Daniels of Goldsboro. She is the granddaughter of Thurman and Evelyn Daniels of Princeton, Eunice Daniels of Mount Olive and Charles Harvey and Frances Harvey of Blackville, S.C.

Parents of the groom are James Leonard and Betty Gibble of Beaufort.

Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore an ivory satin gown with a beaded A-line bodice and a sweep train.

She carried a cascading bouquet of silk blue, lavender, purple and pink dewdrop roses accented with greenery and baby’s breath.

Alexis Clevenger, daughter of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Valerie Perrin of Goldsboro, friend of the bride, and Pauline Shipman of Havelock, sister of the groom.

Michael Gibble of Havelock was his brother’s best man. Ushers were Tim Daniels of Goldsboro, brother of the bride, and Brian Beck of Beaufort, friend of the couple. Groomsmen were Pat Stephens and Billy Beck of Beaufort, friends of the couple.

Dee Gibble of Wrens, Ga., daughter of the groom, was flower girl.

Kelly Mayo of Beaufort, friend of the couple, directed the ceremony. Presiding at the register were Brittney Gibble of Beaufort, niece of the groom, and Leia Daniels of Goldsboro, niece of the bride.

A program of wedding music was provided by Jane Jones, pianist and vocalist.

The couple is residing in Beaufort.

The bride is a 1995 graduate of Southern Wayne High School and a 1997 graduate of Carteret Community College. She is employed as a title clerk with Rick Gladwell of Morehead City.

The groom graduated from Lenoir Community College for firefighter training. He is a volunteer firefighter with Atlantic Beach Fire Department. He is employed as a firefighter and EMT with Beaufort and Morehead City Fire Department.

Following the ceremony, the couple held a reception at the church fellowship hall. Shannon Daniels of Goldsboro, sister-in-law of the bride, poured punch and served the wedding cake.

The couple and their families and friends held a rehearsal dinner at the church.
