WARSAW — Reneha Bankston and Jonathan F. Arnau said their promises May 22 at 6 p.m.

Bishop Joseph Scott officiated at the double-ring ceremony at Country Squire sunken gardens.

Henry and Remedios Bankston of Goldsboro are parents of the bride.

Jimmie and Penny Holmes of Seven Springs and William and Karen Arnau of Wilmington are parents of the groom. He is the grandson of Edgar and Eva Wall of Mount Olive and Greta Robertson of Wilmington.

Given in marriage by her mother and escorted by her brother, the bride wore a satin halter gown with a fitted bodice, detailed embroidery and beading. The chapel-length train had embroidery and beading.

For her headpiece, she chose a waist-length double-tiered veil.

Jeanenne Mumford, sister of the groom, was matron of honor. Erin Vaccarello, friend of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kristen Daniels, cousin of the groom, and Jaziel Pejera and Catherine Mcintire, friends of the bride.

William Arnau was his son’s best man. Groomsmen were Jason Arnau, brother of the groom; Jason Scott and Jay Hill, friends of the groom; and Christopher Bankston, brother of the bride.

Claudia Wiggins and Aby Mcintire were flower girls.

Shannon Wiggins directed the ceremony. Presiding at the register and distributing programs were Adam and Jennifer Wiggins.

A program of wedding music was provided by Brandi Worth, vocalist, and Megan Howard, violinist.

The couple is residing in Goldsboro.

The bride is a 1999 graduate of Charles B. Aycock High School. She is employed with New Century Bank.

The groom graduated from Southern Wayne High School in 1998. He is employed with State Farm Insurance.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Country Squire’s Mead Hall. Dori Comer served the wedding cake. Sue Polk poured punch.

On May 9, a bridal shower was held at the home of Dori Comer, family friend of the bride.

A bridesmaids’ luncheon was held May 8 at the home of Becky Scott.

On May 2, a bridal shower was held at the home of Bobbie Jean Dixon, aunt of the groom.

A rehearsal dinner was held at the Country Squire.
