Jamin Jacobs threw the pigskin around the park for 264 yards as Goldsboro claimed a dominating 42-6 victory over crosstown rival Eastern Wayne.
The Cougars snapped a nine-game skid.
Damon Brown reeled in six catches for 180 yards and picked off four EW passes on defense. Michael Mooring posted three tackles, two quarterback sacks and recovered a fumble.
Micah Smith accounted for the Warriors' lone touchdown -- a 65-yard scoop and score.
EW managed just 85 yards rushing.
Goldsboro (1-0 overall) plays host to Southern Wayne next Thursday.
