PREP BOYS' SOCCER: Golden Falcons topple Havelock

MAYSVILLE -- Charles B. Aycock surrendered an early goal, but stormed back to defeat Havelock, 3-1, during the Battle At The Beach on Friday evening.

The Golden Falcons knotted the contest at 1-1 on Zach Naughton's penalty kick after Coe Jordan drew a hard foul to the face inside the box.

Dillon Borel collected CBA's second goal off of John McIver's assist in the second half.

McIver collected the final goal -- an empty netter after he beat the Havelock keeper one-on-one.

C.B. Aycock (2-0-1 overall) travels to Southern Nash on Monday.
