DRAG RACING: Pikeville's Lucas, Goldsboro's Woods each prevail

Pikeville's Jamie Lucas is a back-to-back champion at Nahunta Dragway after claiming the Modified E/T on Saturday evening. Lucas defeated Clayton's Richard Creech in the finals. Black Creek's Ricky Wainwright and Jacksonville's Kale Hoffman advanced to the semifinals. A total of 27 cars competed. Chris Woods of Goldsboro won the Motorcycle E/T competition over Keith Bonner, who also hails from Goldsboro.
