SOCCER: WCUSC players compete in 3v3 tournament

Wayne County United Soccer Club participated in the 3v3 Live tournament hosted by N.C. State this past Saturday.
The "Ankle Breakerz" -- Connor Piwowarski, Ethan Carlyle, Peyton Blalock and Reece Gery -- finished runners-up in the 12U Division.
Bryan Gery coached the team.
The "Goal Diggers," directed by Scott Summers and former Charles B. Aycock standout Ryan Grubb, ended up third in the 9U Division.
Liam Whittle, Adam Piwowarski, Kholton Grubb, Jordan Keith and Adrian Summers comprised the team.
