Tennis lessons
June 12 -- The Goldsboro Parks and Recreation Department will start a new series of tennis lessons, open for both children and adults, on the John Allen Farfour Courts at Herman Park. For more information, call 919-394-0543.

Soccer Camps
June 11-14, June 18-21, July 9-12 -- The registration fee is $100 for each week and includes a T-shirt. Campers receive a $10 discount for attendance for the second and third weeks. Youth Football Camp
June 16 -- The 9th annual skills and drills camp runs from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. and is open to boys ages 7- to 12-years-old. The camp is free to the first 100 pre-registered participants. Wee Warriors Football
July 7, 10, 12 -- First-day registration is from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Second- and third-day registration is from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Players ages 5-to-12 interested in playing may register at Dick's Sporting Goods on those dates. The fee is $90 and requires a $40 deposit. A birth certificate and updated sports physical must be provided.

NC Wiffle Ball Tournament

Basketball Camp
July 16-19 -- Session I runs from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. for campers entering grades 1-4 and 1-4 p.m. for campers entering grades 5-8.
July 23-26 -- Session II runs from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. for campers entering grades 1-4 and 1-4 p.m. for campers entering grades 5-8.
The registration fee is $125, but $200 if campers attend both sessions. A non-refundable deposit of $40 is due one week prior to the first session. Check-in and late registration is at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. the first day of each session in the gym lobby.
Space is limited.
