WINDSOR -- Freshman Aleesha Boyette scored 15 points to lead No. 25 seed Goldsboro past No. 8 Bertie, 42-38, on Tuesday.
GHS (13-12), which also got 13 points from junior point guard Tziah Kelly, continues its road tour tonight at South Granville.
The Vikings are 20-8 this season, and finished 14-2 in a split 1A/2A conference that featured the likes of Bunn, Roanoke Rapids and J.F. Webb.
South Granville dispatched Roanoke Rapids by a 76-48 margin in the opening round.
Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m.
