DUDLEY -- Sophomore Demetric Wright posted a double-double (15 points, 12 rebounds) on Friday to lead Southern Wayne to an 84-66 triumph over ECC 3A rival Charles B. Aycock.
Shawntwon Leach also tendered a double-double, finishing with 14 points and 10 boards. Jalen Thompson contributed 21 points and seven rebounds, while Jamari Leach tallied 10 points.
CBA (8-12, 3-7 ECC) was led by Eli Batts, who scored 31 points.
Southern Wayne, now 5-15 overall and 4-5 in league play, travels to face D.H. Conley on Tuesday.
