SEVEN SPRINGS -- Freshman Virginia Edmondson scored 14 points and added three steals during Friday's setback to East Duplin.
Sophomore forward Belinda Carson scored 10 points, hauled in nine rebounds and registered one block for the Lady Gators, who fell to 5-10 overall this season, and 0-7 in East Central 2A matters.
SC next sees the floor on Tuesday at James Kenan.
