PIKEVILLE -- Eli Batts scored 11 points and Marquez Farmer added 10 to lead Charles B. Aycock to a narrow home triumph on Friday over ECC 3A rival D.H. Conley.
The victory, which moved the Golden Falcons to 8-10 overall this season and 3-5 in league play, came less than 24 hours after the team suffered a double-overtime road setback versus New Bern.
Alijuan Moore rounded out the official CBA scorebook, tallying seven points on the night.
The Golden Falcons return to action next Tuesday with a trip to New Hope for a date with county rival Eastern Wayne.
