DUDLEY -- Samiya Bess scored 17 points and grabbed eight rebounds on Friday in Southern Wayne's loss to ECC 3A powerhouse South Central.
Takeitha Glaspie also performed ably, scoring 10 points and hauling in 20 rebounds. Machiah Moore had 12 points and nine boards, while Erykah Baldwin netted a career-high 11 points.
The Lady Saints (3-6, 0-1 ECC 3A) travel to face New Bern on Monday.
