PIKEVILLE -- The freshman triumvirate of Kaitlyn Smith, Abbey Thomas and Ebony Green proved decisive on Tuesday versus non-conference foe West Johnston, creating the bulk of 19-point halftime lead that would ultimately prove insurmountable.
Smith finished the afternoon with a game-high 16 points, which included a pair of three-pointers.
Thomas worked her way to 13 points, while Green netted 10 points.
Sophomores Jada Spruill and Jenna Oliver had three points apiece.
CBA is now 3-0 on the season.
