JV Football --Harris, George shine for Rosewood

Will Harris tossed a pair of touchdown passes and Avante George rushed 16 times for 115 yards in Rosewood's shutout of North Duplin on Thursday.
Harris hooked up with Davian Thompson for a 24-yard strike, then paired with Logan Merritt for an 8-yard score later in the contest.
Defensively, the Eagles were led by Tyshawn McCoy, who registered 10 tackles. Elijah Joyner also enjoyed a fine outing, totaling eight for the ball game.
Keith Jones (seven tackles) and George (six tackles) rounded out the purple-and-gold effort.
