ECBL: Rosewood rallies past Wayne Country Day

Rosewood erupted for four fourth-inning runs and held off Wayne Country Day, 5-4, in an Eastern Carolina Baseball League contest Monday evening.
The Eagles trailed 3-1 after 31⁄2 innings.
Conner Vernon, Will Albert (RBI) and Logan Price pounded out two hits apiece for Rosewood. Teammates Tanner McKeel (RBI), Logan Merritt (two RBI) and Jonah Clark (RBI) each provided one hit.
McKeel limited WCDS to three runs (one earned) on five hits and logged three strikeouts in four innings on the mound. Vernon tossed two innings of three-hit, three-strikeout relief.
Tucker Chapin earned the save.
Case Kermode and Tanner Willman (RBI) each collected two hits for the Chargers. Amane Godo (RBI), Will White, Ryan Hopes and Oaha Godo each had one hit.
Amane Godo went the distance for the Chargers, giving up five earned runs and striking out two Rosewood hitters.
