TRACK AND FIELD: Goldsboro boys, girls place sixth at conference championships

Goldsboro's boys and girls track and field team both finished sixth at the Eastern Carolina 2-A Conference track and field championships on Tuesday.
The 4x200-meter boys' relay team of Darrius Rodgers, Dorian Rodgers, Jacob Owens and JB Rhodes grabbed third place. Darrius Rodgers took third in the 200-meter. Zaire Edwards tallied third place in the shotput.
The 4x400-meter girls' relay team of Shaquabia Rose, Nadia Bowden, Jalecia Wade and Taleitha Powell Alston took third place.
