SOFTBALL: North Johnston comes back, downs Rosewood

KENLY -- Rosewood held an early lead, but fell 8-5 in a road non-conference match against North Johnston Monday evening.
The Eagles jumped to a 4-0 lead after one inning, and pushed their advantage to 5-0 in the second inning. North Johnston continued to crawl back and pulled ahead with eight unanswered runs.
Laine Marak went 1-for-3 with a three-run homer. Toree Marak went 2-for-4 while Kaitlyn Kincaid and Kiandra Taylor each posted one hit. The Eagles collected seven hits, seven strikeouts, one walk and one hit-by-pitch.
Rosewood (8-6, 4-3 CC) visits Lakewood today.
