SOFTBALL: North Duplin overwhelms James Kenan

WARSAW -- North Duplin jumped early, and sprinted to a 19-1 victory over James Kenan Monday evening.
Natalie Ramirez, Rayanna Koch and Brooke Cottle each recorded two hits. Haley Brodgen, Hannah Brogden, Kenzie Taylor and Anna Thornton all contributed one hit.
North Duplin (8-1, 6-1 CC) plays Wallace-Rose Hill in the first round of the Duplin County Easter Invitational at 6 p.m. today.
