GIRLS' TRACK: Brigman, Hamilton carry Warriors

GREENVILLE -- Eastern Wayne's duo of Amari Brigman and Sharadiant Hamilton combined to take first-place honors in four events during an Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A Conference meet ran at J.H. Rose.
Brigman won the shot put (36 feet, 2 inches) and discus (94-4), while Hamilton out-ran the competition in the 100 hurdles (17.8 seconds) and 300 hurdles (52.8 seconds).
Treycie Ford won the triple jump with a leap of 34 feet, 3 inches.
The Warriors' 4x4 relay of Samiyah Sasser, Daysia Dukes, Nauttii Council and Kianna Haywood claimed first in 4:52.2.
