GREENVILLE -- Mackenzie Bryan just missed hitting for cycle and drove in four runs during Southern Wayne's 27-3, mercy-rule thrashing of Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A Conference foe J.H. Rose on Tuesday afternoon.
Bryan singled, doubled and tripled in a 4-for-5 outing.
Kelly Dail batted 3-for-4 with a double and three RBI. Senior catcher Rebecca Coor contributed three hits -- two triples, one double -- and drove in four runs. Dawn Anderson posted three hits and two RBI.
"(I'm) very proud of the girls and how disciplined they were at the plate in waiting on their pitch to hit," SW head coach Jamie Williams said.
Anderson limited the Rampants to two hits and logged eight strikeouts inside the circle.
