SOFTBALL: Rosewood pounds Lakewood

Braylee Butts delivered four hits and Riley Jo Meyers drove in a team-high four runs during Rosewood's 14-2, dismantling of Carolina 1-A Conference foe Lakewood on Thursday.
Meyers contributed three hits, while Hailey Weeks supplied two hits and two RBI. Butts drove in two runs.
Kaitlyn Kincaid claimed the pitching decision. She threw 16 first-pitch strikeouts and logged four strikeouts in the mercy-rule affair.
