BOYS' TENNIS: Oakwood topples WCDS

Oakwood, the state 1-A runner-up a year ago, handed Wayne Country Day a 6-3 non-conference loss on Thursday afternoon.
Sam Dively and Alec Fritzinger combined to claim all three points for the Chargers. Each prevailed in their respective singles match, and teamed together for a victory at No. 1 doubles.
Wayne Country Day (1-2 overall) entertains Coastal Plains Independent 1-A Conference foe Christ Covenant today. First serve is 3:30 p.m. at Wayne Community College.
