SNOW HILL -- Greene Central couldn't overcome an eight-error performance on defense and dropped an 8-7, non-conference decision to Farmville Central on Friday evening.
The loss snapped the Rams' four-game win streak.
Tyler Horner (RBI) and Hunter Moore (two RBI) paced Greene Central's offense with two hits apiece. The Rams sprayed 11 hits around the James R. Fulghum Athletic Complex baseball diamond.
Dylan Benton endured the pitching loss.
