SOFTBALL: North Duplin blanks Lejeune in five innings

CALYPSO -- Haley Brogden and Alyssa Santos combined for a one-hitter during North Duplin's 13-0, mercy-rule romp over Lejeune on Tuesday evening.
Brogden collected five strikeouts in two innings. Santos retired six Devilpups on strikeouts, walked one and gave up a hit. The duo combined for four hits.
Rayanna Koch, Courtney Brock, Maddie Swinson and Hannah Brogden (three RBI) each had one hit.
