BASEBALL: Stott paces Saints on the road

DEEP RUN -- Matthew Stott rapped out a pair of doubles with an RBI as Southern Wayne eased past South Lenoir, 8-6.
Stott also scored three runs in the Saints' road win.
Jack Casbarro, Lance Wise, Kolby Anderson (two RBI) and Dylan Whitley (RBI) each supplied one hit.
Casbarro went the distance on the mound. He held the Blue Devils to four earned runs on six hits and struck out four.
The teams meet again Friday in Dudley. Game time is 6 p.m.
