BOYS' TENNIS: Princeton edges Smithfield-Selma

Top-seeded Jacob Williams won consecutive tie-breakers after dropping the first set, and helped spark Princeton to a 6-3, non-conference conquest of Smithfield-Selma on Wednesday afternoon.
Williams won 1-6, 7-6 (4), 1-0 (10-7).
Garrett Klein, Woodall Lane and Zach Hill each earned a singles point for the Bulldogs. Klein-Lane and Hill-Montrez Levi each prevailed at Nos. 2 and 3 doubles, respectively.
Princeton rose to 1-1 overall this season.
