PRINCETON -- Princeton thwarted a late South Creek comeback and collected a 57-48, non-conference victory Wednesday evening.
South Creek sliced a 17-point deficit to a single bucket in the fourth quarter. Colby Sullivan and Earl Gibson Jr. combined to shoot 8 of 8 at the free throw line to thwart the visitors' comeback.
Sullivan finished with 17 points. Gibson Jr. and Garrett Klein chipped in 10 points apiece. Austin Sullivan knocked down nine points.
The Bulldogs (9-12 overall) entertain North Duplin on Friday.
