 Boys' basketball: Norwayne 50, Dillard 45 -- Ashton Perozini scored 16 points and grabbed 10 rebounds as Norwayne moved to 8-1 on the season.

Trever Reid chipped in with 14 points and eight boards, while Clay Matthews and Omarreyon Johnson filed nine points apiece.

Norwayne's next contest is January 30 at Spring Creek.

Boys' basketball: Grantham 24, Rosewood 22 -- Led by seven points from De'zhar Howell, Grantham moved to 5-5 (3-2 conference) with a 24-22 victory over Rosewood on Thursday.

Tayvon Callahan scored five points, and Terquavis Butler added three.

Will Harris had seven points for Rosewood. Grantham's next contest is Monday at Mount Olive.

 Girls' basketball: Norwayne 46, Dillard 24 -- Kaitlyn Smith scored 17 points to lead Norwayne's rout of Dillard.

Abbey Thomas also had 11 points, while Katie Parrish scored eight.

Girls' basketball: Grantham 33, Rosewood 11 -- Alissa Meadows scored 13 points for Grantham, while Morgan Kennedy filed 10 points. Dima Wright added four points.
