GIRLS' BASKETBALL: Hobbton gets past North Duplin

NEWTON GROVE -- Nina Devone led all scorers with 21points as Hobbton rolled past North Duplin, 46-29, during their Carolina 1-A Conference clash Friday evening.
Mary Taylor Jones emerged as the Rebels' offensive leader with 14 points. Alyssa Santos and Jamilyn Wallace logged three points apiece. Brooke Cottle (two points) and Tori Jones (one point) also scratched in the scorebook.
