GIRLS' BASKETBALL: Gators clamp down on Tigers

WARSAW -- Senior guard Destiney Sutton drilled the nets for a team- and game-high 28 points during Spring Creek's 55-32 romp over Carolina 1-A Conference foe James Kenan on Friday evening.
Sutton snared eight rebounds, handed out five assists and picked the Tigers for two steals.
Ashley Marriner posted 15 points, two assists and two steals. Belinda Carson delivered eight points, six steals and five blocked shots.
The Gators visit North Duplin next Tuesday.
