GIRLS' BASKETBALL: Benson, McCain lead Princeton

CALYPSO -- Jordan Benson and Jazmaine McCain tallied 13 points apiece during Princeton's 42-31 triumph over North Duplin in a Carolina 1-A Conference matchup Thursday evening.
Takivia Cummings dropped in 10 points.
Alyssa Santos and Mary Taylor Jones paced North Duplin's offense with nine points apiece. Destiny George scored eight points. Tori Jones (three points) and Brooke Cottle (two points) also scratched in the scorebook.
Princeton entertains Lakewood today, while North Duplin travels to Hobbton.
