VOLLEYBALL: Rosewood knocks off North Duplin

CALYPSO -- Rosewood continued its quest for a postseason berth with a 25-22, 26-24, 25-20 conquest of Carolina 1-A Conference rival North Duplin on Wednesday afternoon.
Taylor Walker provided six kills and two blocks for the Rebels, who dipped to 4-13 overall and 3-10 against conference opposition this season. Haley Brogden contributed three aces, three kills and three digs.
Abbey Pate emerged as North Duplin's defensive leader with 12 digs. Maddie Swinson picked up five digs. Anna Thornton supplied 11 assists and five digs.
