VOLLEYBALL: Herring helps Gators 'ace' Tigers

Kayla Herring served a team-leading nine aces and delivered three kills as Spring Creek swept James Kenan 25-13, 25-16, 25-9 in a Carolina 1-A Conference match contested Wednesday.
Herring also had three kills.
McKinley Edmondson contributed a team-best eight kills and served two aces. Shae Odom recorded three digs.
Ivet Carreno handed out 15 assists.
