VOLLEYBALL: Rosewood continues late-season surge

Senior Hannah Daniels delivered a 10-kill, eight-dig performance during Rosewood's 25-17, 25-23, 25-15 conquest of county and Carolina 1-A Conference rival Spring Creek on Thursday afternoon.
Toree Marak contributed seven kills. Braylee Butts and Macy Tyndall led the defense with 16 and 10 digs, respectively. Ada Rivera handed out 16 assists, while Kaitlyn Kincaid passed out nine assists.
The Eagles (9-11 overall, 8-4 CC) prevailed for the ninth time in their last 12 outings since an 0-8 start to the season.
Ivet Carreno collected 10 assists for the Gators. Kayla Herring registered two aces, six digs and seven kills. Shae Odom picked up 12 digs.
