VOLLEYBALL: Carolina 1A champ Princeton sweeps N. Duplin

CALYPSO -- Princeton remained unbeaten in Carolina 1-A Conference action with a 25-14, 25-10, 25-13 conquest of North Duplin on Thursday afternoon.
Daisey Eklund emerged as the Bulldogs' offensive leader with 11 kills and three aces. Emily Ricks provided six kills and two aces.
Kortney Edwards logged five kills and seven aces. Maryssa Proctor and Erika Hines combined for six kills.
Beth Braswell dished out 25 assists.
Taylor Walker posted three kills and two blocks for the Rebels. Kenzie Taylor contributed two blocks. Abbey Pate and Anna Thornton combined for nine digs on defense.
