GIRLS' GOLF: Sauls takes medalist honors at Wedgewood

WILSON -- Abby Sauls claimed medalist honors and Charles B. Aycock finished first overall during a four-team meet contested at Wedgewood Golf Course on Wednesday afternoon.
Sauls fired a 92 for the Golden Falcons, who posted a three-player score of 295 -- five strokes better than runner-up North Johnston. Leah Campbell fired a 99, Anna Strickland turned in a 104 and Savannah Strickland carded a 106.
Shamayah Revis led Rosewood with a 106. Becca Dunham and Savannah Bowling turned in 18-hole rounds of 119 and 124, respectively. Bri Sutton recorded a 126.
Casey Mitchell led Princeton with a 95.
