VOLLEYBALL: Rosewood dumps Hobbton in 4-set affair

Rosewood continued its mid-season surge with a 25-17, 21-25, 25-23, 27-25 conquest of Hobbton in Carolina 1-A Conference play Thursday afternoon.
Junior Toree Marak led a balanced offensive attack with eight kills, followed by sophomore Kaitlyn Kincaid with six and sophomore Braylee Butts with five. RHS delivered a 31-kill performance as a team.
The Eagles' defensive leaders were Butts and senior Ada Rivera with 11 and 10 digs, respectively. Rivera handed out 20 assists, while Kincaid doled out nine assists.
Rosewood returns home Monday to face North Duplin.
