VOLLEYBALL: Princeton sweeps Carolina 1A rival Rosewood

Princeton continued its recent dominance over archrival and Carolina 1-A Conference foe Rosewood 25-21, 25-7, 27-25 on Thursday afternoon.
Daisey Eklund cranked out 11 kills and served three aces. Kortney Edwards and Leah Narron pounded out four kills aiece. Lily Eklund served four aces and Beth Braswell handed out 23 assists.
The Bulldogs picked up their 13th straight win over the Eagles and 20th overall in 30 meetings since 2004. The last six outcomes have been three-set sweeps by PHS.
Ada Rivera and Hannah Daniels recorded six kills apiece for the Eagles. Daniels and Toree Marak each posted four blocks.
Rivera and sophomore Braylee Butts shared top defensive accolades with 10 digs apiece. Senior Carrie Beckert collected eight digs. RHS finished with 53 digs as a team.
Kaitlyn Kincaid handed out 15 assists.
Princeton suffered a four-set loss to Bunn on Tuesday. Eklund led the offense with 11 kills. Leah Narron (five kills), Kortney Edwards (three kills) and Emily Ricks (two kills) contributed to the Bulldogs' offensive charge.
Braswell distributed 21 assists.
