VOLLEYBALL: Chargers earn 4-set road win at Greenfield

WILSON -- DeKiya Thomas handed out 26 assists as Wayne Country Day upended Greenfield 25-19, 25-18, 21-25, 25-17 in a Coastal Plains Independent 1-A Conference contest Thursday afternoon.
Thomas also logged six aces and seven kills. Lillian Freeman provided a team-high 12 kills and served four aces. Hannah Neal supplied nine kills and four aces.
The Chargers (2-7 overall, 1-1 CPIC) conclude a three-game road swing next Tuesday at league foe Community Christian.
