* PRINCETON -- Earl Gibson Jr. rushed for three touchdowns as Princeton hammered Kestrel Heights, 57-8, in the season-opening game for both teams at Harvey Brooks Field on Friday evening.
Gibson Jr. found the end zone twice in the second quarter and once in the third quarter.
Matthew Stallworth and senior wingback Trace James rushed for two touchdowns apiece. Nathan Ramby added fourth-quarter 28-yard scoring jaunt.
The Bulldogs' defense recorded a first-quarter safety.
Princeton (1-0 overall) returns to action next Friday at Midway. Kickoff is 7 p.m.
