BOYS' SOCCER: Spring Creek shuts out Southern Wayne

DUDLEY -- Gustavo Avalos tallied one goal and assisted on another goal during Spring Creek's 3-0, non-conference victory over Southern Wayne on Thursday afternoon.
The Gators presented new head coach Mario Aguilar Jr. with his first career win that came against his dad, Mario Sr.
Bryan Miranda and Josh Beckerman also scored for Spring Creek. Alejandro Marrero Peralta handed an out an assist.
The Gators (1-0-0 overall) entertain North Lenior on Monday, while the Saints (0-1-0 overall) play host to Southern Nash.
