* Blake Bartlett earned medalist honors with a 3-over 39 during the fourth round of the Wayne County Junior Amateur contested at Lane Tree Golf Club.
Bartlett has compiled 30 points and holds a seven-point advantage over Ty Daniels and Austin Green in the Boys' 14-18 Division heading into Thursday's final nine-hole round at Southern Wayne Country Club.
Wayne Country Day standout Kelly Lewis won medalist honors for the fourth time this season and leads Rosewood's Shamayah Revis, 32-26.5, in the Girls' 14-18 Division.
Matt Coltran remains the overall points leader (24) in the Boys' 12-13 Division after claiming medalist honors for the third time this season. The three-player race is separated by 4.5 points.
In the 9-11 Co-Ed Division, Blake Easom has a 7.5-point lead and is coming off a medalist effort as play concludes at SWCC. Aaron Ingram is second, followed by Brayden McKee.
Collyn Smith is the front runner in the 6-8 Co-Ed Division with 27 points. Ella Hannett and Mason McKee have compiled 24 and 21 points, respectively.
Stockwell logs an ace
* Danny Stockwell recorded the seventh hole-in-one of his career during a round at Goldsboro Municipal Golf Course.
Stockwell fired an ace on No. 7 -- a par-3, 207-yard hole.
Playing partners Scott Learn, Bo Hughes and John Clemmer witnessed the shot.
